		<description>Thanks for all the suggestions Laura...they were really helpful.  I think I've figured out how to get everything centered, and I've messed around with the logo image...I don't have that big empty space at the top anymore.  I considered making the header image smaller, but haven't done so yet.  I'm afraid it's too hard to tell what the image is (and what it in the target) for the naval history novices.  for now, it's staying that size.  

I'm still having an issue in IE 6 and below in my maincontent.  I can't get it to flot to the right of the page, and line up next to the nav bar like it does in Firefox.  Can you tell me where I'm going wrong?
